I'm Marcus Reed — a solo handyman professional who built this business from the ground up on one simple belief: every home deserves quality work from someone who genuinely cares.

After spending six years working with general contractors across Texas, I launched my own LLC in 2010 to offer homeowners and small business owners a more personal, dependable alternative to the big-company experience. When you call me, I'm the one who answers. I'm the one who shows up. And I'm the one making sure every nail, screw, and bracket is exactly where it should be before I leave your property.

I hold a valid Texas Handyman License, $1M general liability insurance, and I complete continuing education every year to stay current on best practices, materials, and codes.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — absolutely. I hold a valid Texas Handyman License and carry $1 million in general liability insurance. I'm also bonded. I'm happy to provide copies of my certificates before any work begins.

How quickly can you start my project?

For smaller jobs, I can typically schedule within 2–5 business days. For larger projects, expect 1–2 weeks for scheduling. I offer same-week availability for urgent repairs when my schedule permits — just ask.

Do you provide the materials?

Both options are available. I can source and supply materials for you (billed at cost with a small sourcing fee), or you can provide your own materials and pay labor only. We'll discuss this during the estimate phase.

What if I'm not happy with the work?

I stand behind every job I complete. If you're not satisfied, I will return to address the issue at no additional cost. My workmanship warranty covers all labor for the duration specified in your package — minimum 30 days, up to 1 year depending on the tier.

Do you work on weekends?

Yes, I work select Saturdays — usually one or two per month. Sunday appointments are reserved for urgent situations. Weekend slots book fast, so reach out as early as possible to claim one.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and all major credit/debit cards through Square. Payment is collected upon job completion — never upfront for new clients. Repeat clients may be invoiced with net-15 terms.

Do you do electrical and plumbing work?

I handle light electrical work (outlets, fixtures, fans, switches) and minor plumbing (fixture replacement, faucets, drain cleaning). For major electrical panels, full bathroom re-pipes, or anything requiring a master plumber or electrician license, I'll refer you to a trusted partner in my network.
